About GTX Europe

Dedicated to raster-to-vector conversion and editing: PDF-to-DWG and image-to-CAD.

Efficiency, accuracy and flexibility

For over 40 years, GTX has led the way in raster-to-vector conversion and editing, bridging the gap between paper drawings and CAD environments. We deliver precision, speed, and innovation, helping designers edit, modify, and convert their engineering drawings effortlessly.

Our mission

GTX Europe is the leading supplier of scan-conversion and editing products, ensuring full integration between scanned archives and CAD systems. Since our founding in 1984 by Dr. Marvin T. Ling, our mission has been to eliminate inefficiencies in storing, retrieving, and editing engineering drawings, by transforming legacy drawings into fully editable digital CAD files.

Pioneering technology

In 1987, GTX set a new industry standard by introducing the first operative hardware and software solution capable of scanning paper and aperture-card technical drawings and automatically converting raster images into CAD formats. Today, we continue to lead the way with software-driven solutions, ensuring effortless drawings conversion and precision editing without proprietary hardware.

Industry leadership

GTX Europe provides advanced tools for cleaning, editing, and converting archival engineering drawings and maps — giving engineers the ability to work in a fully featured CAD environment. Whether you’re looking to edit scanned drawings or convert raster data into CAD compatible DWG or DXF files, GTX delivers the efficiency, accuracy, and flexibility you need.

With a proven track record across manufacturing, aerospace, telecommunications, utilities, and government sectors, GTX remains the trusted choice for editing and converting technical drawings, ensuring seamless integration between historical archives and the future of CAD design.
